Dr. Wales graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1981 and practiced in Ontario for 15 years before moving to Alberta and joining Dr. Karen Jensen in practice. She focuses her practice on women's health issues and general family care. Dr. Wales has used the method of Applied Kinesiology extensively and developed a simplified protocol of muscle response testing to scan for major imbalances and test for compatible treatments. She has taught procedures for, and clinical interpretations of in -office urinalysis at CCNM and at professional seminars. Dr. Wales represents the concerns of naturopathic doctors and their patients to government and media and has been a frequent guest on radio and television programs. Blending scientific knowledge and practical clinical experience, Dr. Wales aims to bring the current issues, concepts and practical approach of naturopathic medicine to health professionals and to the public. George Tamari, Ph. D.Dr. Tamari, a graduate of Hebrew University, Jerusalem, in the field of Biochemistry, has held positions as Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Jerusalem; Director, Department of Biochemistry, Montreal Chest Hospital Center, an Affiliate of McGill University (participating in Cancer Research,) and is presently Director of Anamol Labs, the first established laboratory for Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) in Canada. Early realizing the critical role that nutrients play in metabolic processes, Dr. Tamari was a pioneer in developing HTMA as a reliable tool for assessing nutritional status and determining appropriate clinical protocols in Preventative Medicine. George Gillson MD, PhDDr. Gillson began his training with a PhD in Chemistry (Atomic Analytical Spectroscopy) from the University of Alberta, before moving to the Research and Development Division of SCIEX, a Canadian company specializing in mass spectrometric instrumentation for trace organic and inorganic analysis. He then earned an MD from the University of Calgary and practiced Family Medicine for 6 years (Northern Ontario and Oregon) before moving to the Tahoma Clinic in Kent, Washington. Dr. Gillson worked alongside Jonathan Wright MD, one of the pioneers of the nutritional biochemical approach to chronic illness and disease prevention, and developed a special interest in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. As President and Medical Director for Rocky Mountain Analytical, Dr. Gillson uses his unique background and skills to help practitioners solve their clinical problems.
